Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard against evolving threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and threats in real-time.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security risks.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Ensure data encryption, firewall management, and access control mechanisms are in place and functioning properly.
• Investigate and mitigate security breaches, documenting incidents and responses.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to proactively enhance security measures.
• Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist or similar role in IT security.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with network and security tools like IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
